Heavy Truck Driver - Sr. Heavy Truck Driver: $22.00 - $28.51 Potential Annual Earnings: $86,000 - $106,000/yearly Average annual earnings is an estimation dependent on hours worked per week, overtime hours worked, product service line, location, and position. An offer of employment with Halliburton does not guarantee employment for any length of time. Actual pay will be discussed and finalized at the time of the offer. Paid living accommodations during scheduled time on or a $45/day per diem. 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.

Requirements

  • Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Class A CDL licensure with Hazmat endorsement
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
  • Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges
  • Winter, mountain, over the road driving experience required and the ability to chain up.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a forklift and loader certification
  • Must be willing and able to operate heavy equipment including but not limited to forklift, telehanders, loaders etc.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required
  • Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
  • Able to lift up to 60lbs
  • Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
  • Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions
  • Maintains effective working relationship with other employees

Nice To Haves

  • Tanker, Doubles, Triples endorsement preferred
  • Mechanical background and oilfield experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman
  • Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities
  • Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another
  • Loads and unloads vehicles
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of well logging equipment at job site
  • Performs other duties and activities as directed
