About The Position

The Heavy Skill Rendering Operator performs skilled processing tasks involving pork products and product handling in a production environment. The role requires advanced skills and experience, and examples of positions include Mule Driver, Forklift Operator, and Trayformer Operator. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work takes place in a manufacturing or processing environment that may be wet, humid, cold, hot, or otherwise variable, with temperatures ranging from approximately 35°F to over 100°F depending on the work area. This posting is for the A Shift at the Logansport Plant and is for new hires only.

Requirements

At least two months of work history with the same employer.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete or other hard surfaces.
Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and use hands and arms repetitively.
May need to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials as required, including lifting up to 150 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 140 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
