About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy machinery.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of heavy equipment/diesel mechanic experience
- Strong diesel troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, electrical & welding
- Safety-focused and dependable
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and work in industrial/outdoor conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Technical training is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs
- Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulics & electrical systems
- Repair brakes, bearings, axles, wiring, seals and other components
- Complete engine/component overhauls
- MIG/arc welding & torch cutting
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Perform equipment safety inspections
