Sundt is seeking a CDL Off-Road Truck Driver with at least 3 years of experience, specifically operating Oshkosh military trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment. The role involves preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections of assigned equipment to ensure safe operation. This is a safety-sensitive position. Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
In-depth understanding of the operation of various types of trucks.
Experience operating Oshkosh military trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment.
Must have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License and Medical Card.
Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and maintain a current Medical Card.
Ability to read and understand safety and quality standards.
Effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Be available for overtime.

Nice To Haves

Experience with heavy-haul operations.
Experience with oversized loads.
Experience with military Oshkosh equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, volumetric mixers, flatbed trucks, and articulating haul trucks.
Perform preventative maintenance and pre-shift walk-around inspections of assigned equipment to ensure safe operation.
Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
Produce high-quality work, safely and productively at all times.
Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.
Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means, and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
Continually seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others.
Perform high proficiency in all related equipment preventative maintenance.
