Requirements
- Registered 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks or related equipment
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- CVIP License is an asset
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license is an asset
- Exposure to Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins engines is an asset
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Complete inspections, repairs, and maintenance work in line with OEM standards
- Work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
- Support CVIP inspections, or perform them if licensed
- Maintain accurate service records and follow shop safety procedures
