About The Position
MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Lubbock, Texas area. Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a diverse line of heavy equipment in both shop and field service environments. Compensation is $30.00–$39.00 per hour or more, based on experience, training, and certifications. The company offers a comprehensive benefits plan and pays 100% of employee premiums. Field service openings may include a company service vehicle and gas card.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience.
- Working knowledge of construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, or similar equipment.
