About The Position

NED, LLC., re-branded as NED – National Equipment Dealers, is a heavy equipment dealership offering equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. The Heavy Equipment Service Lube Technician services off-road heavy construction equipment, including excavators, material handlers, wheel loaders, and other off-highway trucks and equipment. The company represents brands including Hyundai, Bell Off-Road Trucks, Manitou, Sakai, and Dynapac.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is $20 to $35 per hour. Applicants must have at least five years of heavy equipment experience and demonstrate proficiency in diagnostics and manufacturer diagnostic software, hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and diesel engines. Cummins certification is preferred. Employment offers are conditioned on successfully completing a drug screen, MVR, and background check.

Requirements

• Proficiency in diagnostics and manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Proficiency in hydraulics and hydraulic repair.
• Proficiency in electrical systems.
• Proficiency in pneumatics.
• Proficiency in diesel engines.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, MVR, and background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and perform start-ups on heavy equipment.
• Inspect low- to high-voltage electrical systems and perform moderately complex relay calibration and power metering.
• Diagnose fault codes and complete necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Keep detailed records of work performed for asset management and the work order system.
• Record and track time worked.
• Take photos and videos of repair work to accompany detailed work logs.
