About The Position

Responsible for managing the full equipment sales lifecycle-from initial customer engagement and opportunity development through quoting, order fulfillment, delivery, and post-sale support. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships while providing equipment solutions that support customer operations. The ideal candidate has experience with heavy equipment, construction equipment, aggregate operations, crushing and screening equipment, equipment rental, mining, earthmoving, excavation, paving, or related industries. Types of Sales Opportunities include Retail Equipment Sales, Rental Equipment, Systems / Full Plant Sales. Support customers with everything from individual machine purchases to complete processing systems and turnkey plant solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical aptitude with heavy equipment and industrial equipment applications.
  • Understanding of production environments and customer operations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a sales territory independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory.
  • Ability to safely navigate construction sites, quarries, mines, and industrial facilities.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and traverse uneven terrain.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in heavy equipment, construction, aggregates, mining, crushing and screening, material processing, or equipment rental preferred.
  • Experience operating, maintaining, managing, or selling loaders, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, crushers, screen plants, conveyors, wash plants, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
  • Capital equipment sales experience preferred but not required for candidates with strong industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, aggregate producers, mine operators, recycling facilities, and industrial customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and jobsite visits.
  • Evaluate customer applications and recommend equipment solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations, site evaluations, and customer presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, estimating, service, manufacturing, and operations teams.
  • Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through delivery and follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment, rentals, parts, service, rebuilds, and plant upgrades.
  • Remain actively engaged after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
