About The Position

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Heavy Equipment Repair Mechanic to maintain shop supplies, shop, and tools. This role involves reading and understanding technical manuals, prints, and schematics to maintain and repair heavy equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery and systems. The position requires specialized knowledge gained through experience and education, with a focus on individual productivity and quality of work. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of related experience, proficiency with tools and techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Requires specialized knowledge attained through experience and education.
• Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Understanding of computer testing technologies.
• Ability to lift heavy machinery.

• Associate's degree or professional certification
