About The Position

Join Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Landfill in Buffalo Creek, TX. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill. We are an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
Excavating soil using an excavator
Maintaining haul roads using a grader
Hauling soil
Work in a fast paced, team environment
Follow safe operating practices
Operate D6T Dozer, 826K Compactor, ADT Haul Truck, Motor Grader, Excavator Sweeper, Water Truck
