Heavy Equipment Operator
About The Position
Join Waste Connections as a Heavy Equipment Operator at our Landfill in Angleton, TX named Seabreeze Landfill. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill. We work in an environment where empowered, self-directed all-stars know what they do is important. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
- Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
- Excavating soil using an excavator
- Maintaining haul roads using a grader
- Hauling soil
- Work in a fast paced, team environment
- Follow safe operating practices
- Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service
