Heavy Equipment Operator

About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator communicates with a supervisor about the daily operation schedule, prepares the loader for start-up according to established procedures, and completes daily maintenance log sheets. The operator sorts and moves material, shuts down the loader according to established procedures, and cleans the work area. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a certified loader operator.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to frequently work at heights.
- Clear understanding of and adherence to safety regulations.
- Team-player dedication to the organization.
- Vision and hearing.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding the daily operation schedule.
- Prepare for start-up in accordance with established procedures and complete daily maintenance log sheets.
- Sort and move material as necessary.
- Shut down the loader in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean up the work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
