Requirements

Proven track record as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction with proficiency across multiple machine types.
Experience with GPS machine control systems and the ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and operate machinery for extended periods.
High school diploma, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel out-of-town based on project needs.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, and scrapers.
Clear, level, and prepare job sites; move and distribute earth, gravel, and rock according to project specifications.
Utilize GPS-based machine control systems to ensure grade accuracy and project excellence.
Conduct pre-operation checks, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure fleet reliability and longevity.
Adhere to all safety protocols while collaborating with supervisors and crew members to meet strict timelines and goals.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
