About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the daily operation of heavy equipment, specifically a loader. This role involves communicating with supervisors for scheduling, performing start-up and shut-down procedures, sorting and moving materials, and maintaining a clean work area. The operator must adhere to established procedures and safety regulations, and be capable of working in various weather conditions and at heights.
Requirements
- Must be certified loader operator.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to frequently worth with heights.
- Possess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
- Team player dedication to the organization.
- Vision and hearing.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with supervisor for daily operation schedule.
- Perform preparations for start-up in accordance with established procedures and fill out daily maintenance log sheets.
- Sort and move material as necessary.
- Shut down loader in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean up work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
