About The Position

H2O Innovation is seeking a new team member for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Gulfport, MS team. Our next colleague will hold a full time & permanent position. Your primary duty will involve operating heavy equipment to clean ditches and ensure proper drainage flow.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and high school diploma/GED.
Minimum of 6 months of experience operating excavators, backhoes, dozers, and graders.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with the public, team members, and supervisors.
Capable of performing physical tasks in diverse weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with pipe-laying in the construction field is advantageous.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and establishing grade preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform ditch cleaning to maintain optimal hydraulic and drainage flow.
Operate a variety of equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, and graders.
Ensure all daily operations adhere to safety protocols and are executed efficiently.
Request utility line locates and complies with line locate policies.
Prepare and submit written reports as required.
