Heavy Equipment Operator
About The Position
This full-time Heavy Equipment Operator position in Pensacola, FL requires prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, specifically excavators, bulldozers, and skid steers. Candidates must have knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance, a sound understanding of safety guidelines, and the ability to maintain logs, time sheets, dispatch, and trip reports. The role demands good physical condition, stamina, and the ability to work in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Exceptional manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and excellent vision (or corrected vision) are also necessary. The position is temporary-to-hire, with no benefits offered during the temporary period. All work will be performed in the Pensacola area.
Requirements
- Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, specifically EXCAVATORS, BULLDOZERS, & SKID STEERS
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment
- A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Excellent vision -OR- the use of prescribed lenses
- Must pass Drug Test
- Must pass a Background-Check
