About The Position
Fay, S&B USA Construction is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for heavy civil infrastructure work in the Portsmouth, Virginia area. Applicants should have experience with excavation, trenching, pipe setting, and loading trucks. The role involves operating heavy equipment safely and skillfully, maintaining equipment through basic preventative maintenance and repair tasks, and completing work safely and without accidents. Periodic Saturday work is required as needed.
Requirements
- Three years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Experience operating equipment including dozers and skid steers.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must provide personal safety footwear.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Safely and skillfully operate equipment including dozers, excavators, and skid steers.
- Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks.
- Perform tasks in a safe and accident-free manner.
