About The Position
Supports resort operations teams and facilities by performing equipment operation duties focused on projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in a resort or commercial environment
- Must possess two to four years related experience and/or training
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation & operating requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of grades and blueprints and working in staked areas
- Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Store heavy equipment safely and securely
- Maintain a clean and presentable workplace
- Clean heavy equipment as scheduled
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment being used
- Repair any issues that are found with erosion on property
- Maintain proper erosion control and keep retaining ponds clean
- Direct material handling or moving activities
- Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems
- Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition
- Maintain professional knowledge or certifications
