About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator performs plant and quarry tasks requiring heavy mobile equipment, including operating equipment associated with the limestone quarry and plant. The operator follows plant safety rules, works safely as a team member, and adapts to changing tasks and equipment needs. The role interacts with production and maintenance personnel to reduce and eliminate production interruptions. A salaried supervisor coordinates the team. This is a day-shift position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and properly use approved personal protective equipment, including respirators when required.
• Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment.
• Excavator and haul truck experience.
