About The Position

Capital Quarries is seeking to fill an Equipment Operator position at our Danville, MO Quarry with travel when needed. This position consists of fluctuating hours, up to 10-hour days. JOB DUTIES: Dirt removal Run 40-ton articulated truck Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions, while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical, and traffic hazards. Being knowledgeable in the operation of multiple pieces of industry-related equipment. Routine maintenance on the equipment, including keeping equipment clean and operable. Communicate with foreman and coworkers about the daily job specifications. Perform general labor duties when necessary. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Requirements

This position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience in the operations of heavy equipment
Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
Must be able to work as a team on all projects
Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
Stand for extended periods of time
Reliable transportation
Willing to travel/work out of town
Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
