About The Position

Under the direction of the foreman, the heavy equipment operator is responsible to operate heavy equipment during assigned shift in an efficient and safe manner. In this role you will work in multiple locations: Santaquin, Levan, Mona and Salem.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2 years of related working experience.
• Attention and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work long hours
• Ability to move at least 50 pounds
• Maintain insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
• Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment, designated during assigned shift, in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work.
• Operate Equipment such as Loaders, Dozers, track hoes and other heavy equipment as assigned.
• Dozer operation includes ripping, blending, and pushing material to crusher, stripping clay and topsoil, and slope banks.
• Loader operation includes feeding hoppers, crushing plants, portable plants, stockpile and load trucks in efficient and productive manner.
• Maintain insurable driving record.
• Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
