About The Position

Venture Metals + is a fast-growing, metal recycling company looking to grow its operations team with an Equipment Operator. This is a full-time, dual role Heavy Equipment Operator position that will assist with metal recycling activities. We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals for our warehouse scrap facility.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled / outdoor facility.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience operating Grapple crane, forklift, skid steer and excavator operation / maintenance experience.
• Scrap metal/waste experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload scrap metal materials with Grapple, forklift, or skid-steers.
• Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment and industrial recycling equipment to minimize downtime and make improvements.
• Observe all safety requirements and lead by example.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback for coaching.
• Ensure a clean and orderly workplace; clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
• Adhere to, evaluate, and maintain proper service logs and maintenance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
