About The Position

We are hiring multiple Heavy Equipment Operators for earthwork construction projects, with primary focus on excavators, dozers, and front-end loaders. We have several openings at various experience levels and are looking for candidates with a range of backgrounds, from operators growing their hands-on equipment experience to experienced professionals skilled in fine grading, finish work, and GPS machine control. In these roles, you will support earthwork and site development operations by safely operating equipment, maintaining productivity, and helping deliver quality work in the field. Depending on your background and the position level, responsibilities may include production earthmoving, fine grading, finish grading, GPS-enabled machine control operation, and working closely with crews and supervisors to meet project goals.

Requirements

Experience in construction, earthwork, site development, or heavy equipment operation
Ability to safely operate in changing field conditions
Strong safety awareness, reliability, and the ability to follow directions and work as part of a crew
Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Experience with fine grading, finish grading, grade stakes, and GPS machine control is strongly desired (for higher-level openings)
CDL is preferred for some positions
Transferable construction and field backgrounds
Advanced dirt work, fine grading, and GPS equipment experience
Experience operating excavators, dozers, or front-end loaders
Strong related sitework experience and want to grow into one of these roles
