About The Position
We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Victoriaville. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment to receive, move, load, and unload materials. They will contribute to the efficient operation of the site by handling materials safely and ensuring equipment is maintained in good working condition.
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Committed to working safely and following health and safety procedures
- Autonomous, resourceful, and able to prioritize your work effectively
- Enjoy working as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate various heavy equipment (mobile crane, loader, etc.)
- Receive, move, load, and unload materials as required by operations
- Feed production equipment, transport materials, and move vehicle bodies and metals to the appropriate work areas
- Inspect material quality, perform material identification tests using the appropriate tools, and identify non-conforming materials
- Weigh materials, complete required reports, and participate in physical inventory counts
- Perform daily inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all health and safety procedures
- Perform any other related duties to support site operations
