About The Position

Operates heavy equipment and machinery. This role involves loading completed spools onto trucks for shipping, communicating proactively with the foreman and coworkers, and ensuring company equipment and materials are maintained, cleaned, and stored safely. The operator must drive and control equipment in the correct direction and angles to prevent accidents and property damage, and respond to signals and directions from staff while working in coordination with them. The position requires operating equipment to move, load, and unload materials.

• 2 plus years’ experience.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED: Preferred or 2 years operating up to 30 to N cherry pick

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures.
• Load completed spools on to trucks to be shipped.
• Proactively communication with Foreman and coworkers.
• Ensure company equipment and material is maintained, kept cleaned, and stored in a safe manner.
• Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property.
• Drive and control Cherry Picker.
• Operates equipment to move, load and unload material.
• Respond to signals and directions by the staff and work in coordination with them.
