About The Position

Operates heavy equipment and machinery. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures. Loads completed spools onto trucks for shipping. Proactively communicates with Foreman and coworkers. Ensures company equipment and material is maintained, kept cleaned, and stored in a safe manner. Operates the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property. Drives and controls Cherry Picker. Operates equipment to move, load and unload material. Responds to signals and directions by the staff and works in coordination with them.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED: Preferred or 2 years operating up to 30 to N cherry pick
  • 2 plus years’ experience
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - As required by the job duties, tasks assigned, and/or company guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures.
