About The Position

RiverStone Group, Inc., has an immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Plant Maintenance worker in Scott County. This is a full-time, hourly position working at one of two possible quarries – one in LeClaire and the other in New Liberty, Iowa. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed. Depending upon production requirements, you must be able and willing to travel to the respective location that is currently operating. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
• Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment
• A strong mechanical aptitude
• A valid driver's license
• Candidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• A background in quarry operations is preferred
• Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting crew in all aspects of quarry operation as assigned
• Operating and maintaining heavy machinery
• Maintaining and repairing all equipment
• Properly following all company policies and adhering to all governmental regulations
• Welding, repair, and fabrication on rock crushing equipment associated with a quarry operation
