About The Position
Under general direction, the Heavy Equipment Operator II operates and maintains solid waste collection heavy equipment, including roll-off trucks, brush open-top trucks, container retriever trucks, water trucks, and dump trucks. The employee has no supervisory responsibilities for personnel and must abide by all safety rules and operational policies and procedures.
