About The Position

NACG is looking for Finish Dozer Operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. The role requires a strong emphasis on organization and safety. The position is based at the Syncrude-Aurora site with a schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off, working 12-hour days. Accommodations are not provided, but bussing is available from Fort McMurray to the site before and after shifts. Overtime is provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week. The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Finish Dozer Operator on a civil type project.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and written
• Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Experience as requested as mentioned above
• Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
• Undergo and successfully pass the following testing: Breath Alcohol Test, Urine Drug Test, Fitness-to-Work Assessment, Audiometric Testing, Vision Screening, Criminal Record Check
• CSO or BSO, Field Ergonomics, Silica Awareness, Hydrogen Sulfuide Awareness, OHS, Wood Buffalo Wildelife Awareness Certifications
• Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
• VOID cheque/direct deposit form

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Finish Dozer Operator on a civil type project.
• Ability to execute a high tolerance construction scope with final grade.
