About The Position

NACG is looking for Articulating Truck Operators to work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. The role requires individuals who are well-organized and prioritize safety above all else. The position is located at the Syncrude Aurora site with a schedule of 14 days on and 7 days off, with pay for 12-hour days. Accommodations are not provided, but bussing is available from Fort McMurray to the site before and after shifts. Overtime is provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week. Successful candidates will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Articulating Haul Truck Operator on civil type projects.
Experience driving in mine areas and congested areas.
Proficiency in English, both verbally and written.
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Ability to undergo and pass pre-employment testing including Breath Alcohol Test, Urine Drug Test, Fitness-to-Work Assessment, Audiometric Testing, Vision Screening, and Criminal Record Check.
Must provide CSO or BSO, OHS, Silica Awareness, Field Ergonomics, Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness Certifications prior to start date.
Must provide a copy of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Must provide a copy of a recent Driver’s Abstract.
Must provide a VOID cheque/direct deposit form.
