About The Position

Heavy Equipment Mechanic Roanoke, VA | Vermeer All Roads Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with diesel engines and problem solving? We are excited to bring on a new addition as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability
• Proficient ability to document in CDK
• Detail oriented, organized, safety focused and team player
• Work Authorization: All Roads Company does not provide H-1B sponsorship. No security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

• CDK experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience
• Welding as needed
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager
• Create accurate repair estimates, CDK experience a plus
• Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance
• Other duties as assigned
