About The Position

Be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment to insure safe operation, such as backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and trenchers, rollers, scrapers, forklifts, haul trucks, water trucks and dump trucks. Must have experience with welding and cutting torches.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry and have an in-depth understanding of the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy construction equipment.
Must be able to read and understand technical publications, specifications, safety and quality standards and effectively utilize all trade tools and equipment relevant to the work.
Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must have own tools.
Must be willing to travel.
Must have a current physical card and commercial driver’s license or be willing to get one.
Must have experience with welding and cutting torches.

Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
