About The Position
Central Stone is seeking candidates to fill a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at their Fort Belle quarry in Florissant, MO. This mechanic position is a Union position with the Operating Engineers local 513. The company has over 100 years of experience in limestone aggregate products and is one of the largest privately owned U.S. aggregate companies.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, take directions, and perform well with others.
Nice To Haves
- Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
- Welding certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of mobile equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.
- Complete accurate written record of work performed.
- Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.
Benefits
- Full rate of $34.41/hr after probationary period.
