Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Felix ConstructionPhoenix, AZ

About The Position

Felix Construction is looking for a Mechanic II to join their Equipment team. This is a hands-on position for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic who enjoys the work itself—replacing major components, performing repairs, and keeping their fleet running safely and reliably. This is not a lead mechanic or shop foreman position. They are looking for someone who takes direction well, works independently once assigned a task, and takes pride in getting the job done right. Felix Construction has been building critical water and wastewater infrastructure since 1987, proudly serving the Phoenix and Dallas markets. They have kept the close, family-owned feel of their early days while earning the reputation and recognition of a leading general contractor - recently named #1 Top Workplace in Arizona for midsize business in construction. Work is local—no overnight travel—so you're home every night. They keep crews safe, busy, and respected. They like people who work hard and like using their hands and their heads. Read the plan, know the ‘why,’ build it right, and take pride in the result. You’ll get steady hours, good gear, and a team that has your back. They Build What Matters.
