About The Position
Industrial Civil Construction Company looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience in gas & diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and computer diagnostics for various makes and models of equipment. The role requires the ability to communicate and diagnose repairs. Credited diesel mechanical or trade certifications are a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Experience with gas & diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems required.
- Experience with computer diagnostics and various makes and models of equipment.
- Ability to communicate and diagnose repairs.
- Must have Valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
- Must be willing to assume the physical risks of working in an outdoor environment which includes but is not limited to dust, construction equipment, heat and/or cold.
- Must have ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Credited diesel mechanical or trade certifications a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair of equipment as needed.
- Log service repairs on equipment. Understanding of corrective, PM, and breakdown repairs.
- Understand and follow OSHA guidelines of equipment and PPE.
- Operate equipment when needed.
