About The Position
Kiewit is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Journeyman for the Mayo Project in the Yukon. The Mayo Project supports critical infrastructure development in the Yukon, contributing to the delivery of essential construction services in the region.
Requirements
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Journeyman Red Seal
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Driver's license, and clean Driver's Abstract
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
- Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
- Must be compliant with Kiewit Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies
