Hino Central is looking for Heavy-Duty Technician Apprentice 4th-year at our Edmonton location! Reporting to the Parts and Service Manager, the Heavy-Duty Tech Apprentice is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by maintaining and repairing vehicles in a timely fashion as a member of the Hino Central team. This position will employ logic and deductive reasoning in diagnosing and troubleshooting in an independent environment.

Requirements

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
  • A dependable, safety-first mindset that guides every task.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and juggle multiple responsibilities in a busy shop.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, paired with a positive attitude and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Willingness to undergo required security checks.
  • Willingness to complete all assigned training as you progress in your apprenticeship.
  • A collaborative spirit—open to feedback, driven to grow, and ready to support and learn from others.
