About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Heavy Duty Porter for the 3rd Shift. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and adhering to guest service standards within the casino environment. The position requires a high level of professionalism, the ability to operate cleaning equipment, and a commitment to upholding company policies and procedures.

Must have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and operating skills
Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team
Must have excellent organizational skills
Strong guest service skills
High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute
Must have (1) year experience in the cleaning field with equipment

Responsibilities

Adhere to guest service requirement
Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets
Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks and counter tops as well as sweep and mop floors.
Remove all trash to exterior trash points
Remove snow for trash run
Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
Clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates
Clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges and clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitizes all guest and team member areas
Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust and wax floors
Operate all types of cleaning equipments including riding equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
Maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by a Belterra Park entity or by a guest of Belterra Park
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager, and Shift Supervisor on duty
