About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a premier casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Heavy Duty Porter for the 2nd Shift to maintain cleanliness and guest service standards across the property. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests and team members.

Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignments.
Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and operating skills.
Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong guest service skills.
High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute.
One (1) year of experience in the cleaning field with equipment.

Responsibilities

Adhere to guest service requirements.
Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, countertops, cigarette urns, and toilets.
Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks, and countertops.
Sweep and mop floors.
Remove all trash to exterior trash points.
Remove snow for trash runs.
Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers.
Clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates.
Clean brass, lighting, walls, and carpeting.
Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades.
Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges, and clean team member restaurant floors.
Sanitize all guest and team member areas.
Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust, and wax floors.
Operate all types of cleaning equipment, including riding equipment such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers, and overhead lifts.
Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guests in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
Maintain compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
Ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
Maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information.
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image.
Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager and Shift Supervisor on duty.
