About The Position

Rasmussen Trucking & Service Center is looking for a Heavy-Duty Parts Manager/Service Writer to run our parts room. This is a family owned and operated company. We are looking for someone with dedication to their job and can work independently without supervision. Past experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Must have prior service writing skills
• Knowledge of diesel parts a must
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50lbs. (assistance with heavy items will be provided)
• Must be able to work in all types of environments including, heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
• Must have safety shoes or boots with a minimum of safety toe and slip resistant
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Customer Service
• Generate & Receive purchase orders
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Manage all returns, including timely core returns
• Create repair orders
• Able to be cost effective when placing orders
