About The Position
A solid, reliable fleet is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for a job in Exeter PA. The Diesel Mechanic position offers ample overtime, growth opportunities, competitive wages and excellent benefits package.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical/electronics troubleshooting/repair
- Familiarity with diagnostic systems like JPRO &/or JALTEST
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience repairing Diesel Trucks, Construction Equipment, Skid Steers, Bucket trucks, Aerial Lifts (Genie, JCB, etc.), Booms, Cranes, etc. is greatly appreciated
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics
- Inspections
- Preventative maintenance
- Oil changes
- Tune-ups
- Welding/fabrication
- Repair of vehicles both in-shop and in the field
- Maintain a safe workplace and adhere to all OSHA, DOT and company safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
