About The Position

We are hiring multiple Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics (Red Seal) to join our team at Artemis Blackwater Mine on a 14 x 14 Continuous Shift rotation. This role offers an opportunity to work on ultra-class Caterpillar mining equipment for the biggest players in the industry. Requirements

Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification
Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)
10+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience Recommended
Previous repair experience on the Caterpillar mining and general line product lines 793 Haul Trucks, 6015, 6040 and 6060 Shovels, D9 and D10 dozers, 395 Excavators, and 18 Graders
Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses
Ability to obtain Customer Site Access (includes Drug & Alcohol, and Fitness testing)
Ability to wear a respirator

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair a variety of Caterpillar mining equipment such as Rock Trucks, D9 and D10 dozers, 395 Excavators & Graders; leveraging your technical expertise to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.
Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in an active mine environment
Interface with customers, products and sales support
Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
Component replacements
Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication
