About The Position

We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic who can handle repairs and maintenance on a wide range of equipment in both the shop and the field. If you know your way around diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems and you can work independently we want to talk to you. You’ll work on equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, mini-excavators, dump trucks, semi tractor trailers, heavy and light trucks, trailers, and small gas engine equipment. Tools and uniforms are provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to read service manuals, prints, and technical drawings
• Basic computer skills for reports and documentation
• Willing to travel when needed
• Heavy equipment repair (diesel and gas)
• Hydraulics repair and troubleshooting
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Welding, cutting, and basic fabrication
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain issues clearly verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A is a plus
