Requirements

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck & Transport Technician certification, or equivalent qualification
• Experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and repair tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Nice To Haves

• Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
• Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVI) Licence
• Previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and transportation equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and resolve technical issues
• Ensure repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Conduct quality inspections and functional testing following repairs
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Support inventory and parts management activities as required
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
