About The Position

We are currently looking for a dedicated Dual Ticketed HET/Electrician who will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of both mechanical and electrical equipment, switchgear wiring, and a variety of equipment repair functions in a service-oriented environment. This role is based at the Power Systems – Edmonton facility and operates on a Monday to Friday shift.

Requirements

• Journeyman HET and Electrical certification (may consider electrical apprentices)
• Five years experience as Journeyman HET
• Previous Power Generation experience
• Self-motivated
• Team player capable of working with minimal supervision
• Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Service, troubleshoot and repair electrical power generation equipment and compressors
• Trouble shooting and performing repair on Caterpillar equipment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and perform equipment repairs
• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment
• Troubleshooting Caterpillar equipment and perform equipment repairs
• Interface with customers, products and sales support
• Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• Various related duties as required
