Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner
About The Position
The Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment through deep cleaning and overall sanitation duties. This includes heavy cleaning of stoves, ovens, coolers, walls, ceilings, equipment, and floors, as well as trash removal, power washing, and proper organization of storage areas. The role requires consistent adherence to safety procedures, proper chemical handling, and the use of personal protective equipment. Additional responsibilities include reporting repair needs, recycling materials, maintaining cleaning supplies, and assisting in training new employees using the buddy system.
Requirements
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to perform duties under pressure
- At least six months of related cleaning experience
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
