We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team in Granton, NS. Position Summary To ensure maintenance of motorized vehicle, forklifts, equipment and accessories of lifting and handling, and eventually technical coordination

Requirements

Experience in a high traffic repair shop
Comfortable with tight deadlines
Familiar with Planning and Scheduling functions

Nice To Haves

Familiar with Purchasing and Inventory Control would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Application of safety rules during his interventions
Secure / condemn any device or material immediately upon detection of anomalies inducing risks
Maintenance plans, inspection and regulatory tests on equipment are respected
Maintenance books, regulatory records, and technical dossiers updates and available
Availability of lifting and handling equipment (troubleshooting and preventive adapted to the service rate expected).
Optimized Cost (supplies and materials used, energy consumption, ...)
Participation in the development of plans for the durability of equipment, equipment, appliances, and battery charging rooms
