Requirements
- Technicians with six (6) plus years’ experience.
- Performs at 100% efficiency or better.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Positive attitude.
- Motivated.
- Freightliner Heavy Duty Trucks Systems Training and Certification
- Freightliner Electrical Troubleshooting Training and Certification
- Specialist Certification
- Professional Certification
- Freightliner Electronic Systems Specialist Certification
- Class B CDL
- ASE Test Passed
Responsibilities
- Training and coaching less qualified technicians by assuming training and coaching responsibility for a group of approximately four (4) technicians.
- Diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs.
- Creating repair plans and filling out parts requisitions for needed parts.
- Tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value.
- Communicating updates to their Foreman daily.
- Maintaining toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.
- Performing tasks and possessing skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of 100% or above.
- Provides training, coaching and guidance to less experienced technicians.
