Requirements

• Six (6) plus years’ experience.
• Performs at 100% efficiency or better.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude.
• Motivated.
• Freightliner Heavy Duty Trucks Systems knowledge.
• Freightliner Electrical Troubleshooting knowledge.
• Specialist Certification.
• Professional Certification.
• Freightliner Electronic Systems Specialist Certification.
• Class B CDL.
• ASE Test Passed.
• Provides training, coaching and guidance to less experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Training and coaching less qualified technicians (approximately four technicians).
• Diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs.
• Creating repair plans and filling out parts requisitions for needed parts.
• Tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and turning in parts with core value.
• Communicating updates to Foreman daily.
• Maintaining toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.
• Performing tasks and possessing skills noted below and have efficiency ratings of 100% or above.
