About The Position

The Shop Mechanic is part of the Maintenance Department and will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel trucks using hand and power tools while following both oral and written work orders. The schedule involves fourteen (14) days on and seven (7) days off. Workdays typically run 10-12 hours, with overtime available when business needs allow. The company is open to local and non-local candidates.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Satisfactory Driving Record for last 3 years
• 2+ years diesel/hydraulic maintenance

Nice To Haves

• Class A CDL preferred but not required
• Diesel mechanic education/certification preferred
• Previous industry related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all equipment
• Regularly perform Preventive Maintenance
• Troubleshoot malfunctions on all equipment
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies & Procedures

• $28.00-$48.00 an hour, depending on experience
